ABOUT ME

Matthew Sias was born in Seattle, Washington, and raised on an island in the middle of the Puget Sound.  He is a graduate of Western Washington University and the University of Washington School of Medicine Paramedic Program. 

​

He is the author of "Silent Siren:  Memoirs of a Life-Saving Mortician" and currently works as a paramedic, Coroner's investigator, and volunteer firefighter.  He is a former apprentice embalmer, reserve police officer, and nursing assistant.

He lives with his wife, Kenzie, and dog, Micah, near Seattle.
